Brutal, visceral, deadly - Hematite is six metric tonnes of spines, scales, and muscle. Renowned for her ability to rally flagging allies, Hematite often joins Gloom on the battlefield and on the hunt, and together with Venomtouch, Porphyrus, Nightweaver, and Althena comprises the clan's most skilled combatants. She has a fondness for rubies and seashells and, unlike most Ridgebacks, enjoys underwater combat. Among her specialities is wrangling the enormous Jeweled Octoflyers into submission in the depths of the Kelp Beds. When not hunting sea-life or aiding the clan's warriors in combat, Hematite is generally tasked with defence of the clan on the home-front. She is tough, though not cruel, with hatchlings, and occasionally mothers a clutch with her sometimes-mate, Alufiend. |
