Since Bill began work there, Alverton's garage has become a lot more friendly; the sunny red drake is happy to chat with any and everyone that comes in needing repairs, even the shadier individuals in town. He truly believes there's good in everybody deep down; everyone is his friend, they just might not know it yet. It's Bill's radiant friendliness and positivity that's both his biggest strength and greatest downfall; he's all too easily taken advantage of, and can't help giving people the benefit of the doubt. His other friends are convinced that his 'best' friend, Darcy, only hangs around him for handouts, but Bill is quick to shut the conversation down; they simply don't know the spiral like he does.

Aside from meeting new people and working with heavy machinery, Bill's biggest passion, by far, is music. If someone walks into the garage and so much as glances at the radio, Bill will appear without fail (out of seemingly nowhere sometimes) to tell them all about who's playing and his favourite tunes from that album. On breaks, he's practising his own music, picking along the strings of his beat-up guitar in a dream-like state as he imagines himself onstage and the roar of the crowd. Nobody has the heart to tell the guy that his playing is... mediocre, at best.
