Biography
LightHeart
LightHeart was once called “La Muerte” meaning The Death. One of the most cunning and deadly creations of The Mother. She is a First Born and considered royalty among her kind. The Mother keeps a watchful eye on her creation and helps to guide her decisions according to her greater plan. LightHeart sometimes feels the pull of Her will and resists. This is not met with kind words and eventually led her to retire from Mother’s army as a high ranking general and commander. After leaving she ventured far into the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. There laid a perfect hollow for a future lair filled with her family and followers. It was filled with debris from an ancient civilization that no longer survived today. It was likely wiped out during the Battle Of The Shade. LightHeart remembered the battle with all to clear memories. Shaking them off she began to clear her new nest from debris.
During all of this commotion of her magic throwing things to the side, she heard a rumbling of a large dragon clearing his throat. Turning she met the eyes of a guardian peering at her through the piles of thrown rock and wood. They stared silently for a moment before she spoke. “Who are you, Stranger?” He seemed to be inspecting her small frame and her familiar began to growl beside her. She lowered her chin and dared him to make a move.
“Nice place ya got here… Mind if I help?” The guardian smirked and began to muscle some of the larger chunks away from her nesting area. She simply stared at him and began to accept his presence. They began clearing their new home together. At the end of that night it was as if they had known one another their entire lives. They laughed and joked about old battle stories, discussed old battle plans, and grew quiet about their scars. The guardian asked about her skin and when she remained silent he shifted uncomfortable.
“I conjured it so that… No one would use my sickness against me.” Seeing his look of confusion she allowed her conjured skin to melt away and expose the Smirch on her body. “When I was fighting the shade beside my brothers and sisters... I became very ill. I was touched by the shade and now have a poison in my body that will eventually consume me. Even my powerful magic can’t cure this.” The guardian nodded silently as she assumed her previous skin. “I will protect you. Give my life in place of yours if I must. I promise you.”
With that promise, they became bound until the end of one another. She has never allowed another dragon close to her and neither has he. They have had many children but none were as troubling as the one who mimicked her mother’s smirch markings...
