As a Dreamwarden, Serrea protects all who slumber and are thus at risk to those that hunt through the Dream Corridors. Dreamwardens protect sleeping minds against the damaging claws of fiends and demons, preventing nightmares and stopping possessions before they happen. There are two sides to a Dreamwarden; their Dreamwarden state, and their Waking Form.

In her Waking Form, Serrea is often described as sleepy. Not tired or exhausted, but simply sleepy. In reality whenever she closes her eyes, she can see events happening far away, in the future and in the past. This can be both a blessing and a curse, but instead of running away from it, she faces her Sight head-on. As a result, it is impossible to trap her in a vision and try to confuse her from what is real. She can easily tell a vision and illusion apart from reality, and can effortlessly pick apart even the most talented manipulator's attempts to weave their web around her.

Once in the Dream Corridors and in her Dreamwarden form, this ability to tell illusion from 'reality' becomes that much more important. The Corridors are not corporeal, not in the way those in the waking world relate to the word, so the Corridors' version of reality and illusion is vastly different. Even experienced Dreamwardens can get easily confused and manipulated by the ever-shifting tunnels and chasms, but Serrea can still pick apart what's there and what isn't. She can also manipulate herself to blend in perfectly with her surroundings, which she utilizes to either ambush or escape fiends. Serrea often prefers to work in a team, since her strength and endurance are not the best, but her support to her partners is entirely unmatched.
