As the Matron Mother's consort, Varo has a vested interest in the protection of the lair. He trains fighters to protect the lair from attackers. Generally more distrustful of outsiders than the Matron Mother, he is a force to be reckoned with.
His familiar is of the Grey River Flight. It came to steal from the lair's hoard, and Varo took a liking to its mischevious nature. The two bonded.
