Clan Role: Protectress of the Greendelve

"You may fly far above the world, but it is never beneath you." So Mira tells any dragon with a desire to join her clan, and so has she lived her life as best she can. Like many of her brethren, Mira was born in a shallow pool on the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, heir to a long line of Guardians who swore absolute fealty to the Tidelord - their Charge the ways and means and preservation of his domain. So it was with great concern that her family watched her take to the air, the element for which she had always had the greatest affinity.

Mira's predecessors, she thought, were too strongly mired in the bitterness of the past and the shadowy promise of the future. Her life was to be lived in the present and on the wing, rather than spent in vain devotion to oracle and prophecy. So her Search and her very nature led her to the Zephyr Steppes.

Here she carved her lair into the terraced cliffside, delving no further into the face of the rock than necessary, and taking great care to not disturb the local flora and fauna. Many dragons of every sort have joined her since, and though she was not solitary by habit, she never expected a thriving itinerant community to grow in the heart of the mountain she now called home. Her new friends and family were always coming and going but they always returned, and the Greendelve (for so her lair was now known to be called) became a refuge and a solace to many a wanderer in the Windswept Plateau.
