Valeria is the keeper of the burial sites at Dragon's Rest. She is responsible for the preparation and execution of the Ancestors Ceremony held when a dragon passes. She is also responsible for preparing the bones (all that's left after the fading) for their final resting place. Val is at present learning the finer details of the Beast Tribes and their burial methods. Being around the dead all day she is, as one might expect, rather macabre. Valeria is most certainly a loner and is considered one of the less approachable drakes in the clan. Though, if one persists enough she will usually relent to what she considers pestering. At that point, she can be quite considerate and honestly interesting to be around. It's not that she doesn't want company, she's just not used to such lively companions. Valeria is proficient in each of the elemental rites and this unique ability to perform each and every flight's final rites is what got her invited into the clan. She is very proud of the fact she not only knows the rites, but can in fact perform them as efficiently as a member of that flight. She is not certain how she can do that, especially since most require the use of said element in the ceremony. Val has also noticed that since arriving in the clan's lands that ability has become stronger and the resistance between elements has dropped to nothing. This is not something she has mentioned to anyone yet. |
