Many moons ago, as Clan Lockjaw took its first breaths, Lovecraft lived among the townsfolk with her parents. Despite the harshness of the Wasteland, it was peaceful, and quiet, and…
Unimaginably dull.
Where was the excitement? The looming dread? The feeling that every little shift of the house or sound outside your window was something ancient, unknowable, and excessively violent?
So, one day, when she grew fed up with the mundanity of her life in Fort Teteleth, Lovecraft packed up everything in her possession and moved into a run-down radio tower in the eeriest part of the territory—the Leatherwood. She resides there happily now, writing horror stories to broadcast throughout the Wastes and drinking coffee while her hyena, Barghest, sits at her feet and chews on some half-rotted thing he’s dredged up from the woods. Occasionally she even receives visits from her girlfriend, Dolly.
