Earthborn, this sturdy beast is the weyr's most accomplished architect. He is charged with the excavation of the cliffside in which the clan makes its winter home and storerooms. He is a stubborn creature, hardheaded, prone to bouts of vanity that escape most of the larger breeds in the territory. These attributes ultimately serve him well. He has an innate knowledge of earth working that far surpasses the lesser beasts he is charged to direct as they carve and tunnel into the heart of stone that serves them all.

The object of his deepest affection follows his every move, painting all the walls and ceilings of their home in her traditional scrawling azure tones and living lighting. Over the years his designs and carvings have shifted to better suit her style of ornamentation, together they wordlessly craft a massive collaborative masterpiece for the weyr to inhabit. Ornarath seems mostly unaware of his constant attention.
