Background:
Nirya and her brother Faryl shared a nest. Their parents were surprised to get two very different children in one nest: Nirya romantic and quiet, and her brother outgoing and often in for some fun. What pleases Llanel and Selyna a lot is that, despite their different characters, they get along very well together.

Character:
Nirya is a writer and a romantic.

Occupations:
When she is not dreaming, she writes prose and sometimes she produces a poem. She loves to write love stories, but because most of the dragons aren't very interested in reading those, she tries to write in other genres as well.

Family and friends:
For a while Nirya had the feeling that Gisli's many visits were not just to find out if there was a new adventure story in the making. She began liking the visits more and more and missing Gisli when she wasn't around. So one day she asked if Gisli would like to call Nirya's lair home when she isn't out defending the clan. Gisli was very happy to accept this invitation. They got along so well, that Nirya dared to express her wish to have a child. Gisli told her that she didn't mind such an addition to their household. They decided to ask Canan if he would be prepared to have a nest with Nirya, and to their delight he accepted, telling them that he didn't want the responsibility for the care for the new hatchling. Nirya and Gisli told him they didn't expect that at all: as it was their intention to look after it together. And now they have their daughter: Aywen.
