The dragons of the True Understanding have dedicated their lives to understanding the underlying nature of the universe. They are voracious dragons with an appetite for wisdom. Their training involves both an external and internal search for meaning. Many choose to become monks or scribes but most will continue their search until the day they die, traveling from clan to clan talking with dragons from as many walks of life as they can. A dragon of True Understanding will always listen to what you have to say. They will always give you objective advice and are extremely humble dragons.
Rousseau is a strong believer in freedom. Growing up he noticed that all dragons were born free, and then were placed in chains by society. He grew to dislike the ideals of his siblings, who all thought of their personal philosophies as rays of hope. He believes that everyone is born good, but becomes corrupted by society. Rousseau is very abstemious, and owns very few belongings, his prized possession being a ragged old notebook that he keeps all his musings in.

Rousseau loves to be in nature and feels most at peace when outside of cities and towns. He is a hard worker and loves to read, often finishing several books in one day. He has a great respect for all the dragons that leave to fight the great war and is wary of those who use the law to back up their actions. Others say he can be intense but kind, and always there for his friends.
