Biography
Voices whisper in your head, telling you to go down that dark tunnel and find what lies at the end. You don’t want to listen to the strange voices, but you find yourself following them anyway. Something scurries further into the tunnel as you wander forwards, listening to the sounds of water dripping through the roof. Drip. Drip. Drip. You run your hands along the wall and learn that symbols have been carved into the.. Stone? You are not sure, but the voices in your head seem to be getting louder. Something moves in the shadows and the cave is bathed in a thin light. An elderly blue nocturne, with brown eyes that are glazed over, sits, a torch in his claws. His wings are covered in old scars and he has long whiskers that look like they belong to a pearcatcher. He blinks once, but doesn’t say anything. You turn to leave, but then the old dragon speaks.
“Please, stay. At least stay a while; nobody has visted me in years. Not since Truth..”
Curiosity gets the better of you,
“Wh-who are you?”
The old dragon sighs
“Taimmunth, the last survivor of my clan”
“Why? What happened?”
“The Beastclans got the better of us, young one.” Taimmunth says, seemingly wanting to change the subject.
“S-so who is Truth?”
Taimmunth smiles,
“He was the only family I had, after.. The Beastclan attack. He was born in another clan and left as a young adult. I was only a young hatchling at the time, but I still remember Truth looking after me, as if I were his own hatchling,”
Taimmunth flicks a scarred wing at the many symbols, runes and dragon pictures carved into the walls,
“We built this, in honour of the fallen clans, and when Truth discovered that his clan had been attacked, and survived, we decided to honour his fallen clanmates in the same way.”
