The Equinox Dawnbringers resulted when groups of the Solstice Dawnbringers determined that they should go out and spread their teachings across Sornieth. As they journeyed, many of them fell in love and brought their mates back with them back to the Sunbeam Ruins. Their resulting children who demonstrate the powers of the Solstice Dawnbringers, though not as strong as the originals, became known as the Equinox Dawnbringers. Equinox Personality They have very similar personality traits as the Solstice Dawnbringers, but Equinox Dawnbringers tend to be much more open and social. Because of this, the Equinox Dawnbringers tend to be the ones who welcome other Dragons for their more naturally loose and friendly demeanor. Though Equinox Dawnbringers don't have as near strong powers as the Solstice Dawnbringers, the Equinox Dawnbringers prove to be far more creative and imaginative, relying on their emotions more often than not and tending to disregard intelligence and reason. They also have a very loyal streak, defending their friends and even at times taking the blame for them. But as with all Dawnbringers, Equinox Dawnbringers keep the Dawnbringer's past a closely guarded secret, though they tend to be more inclined to sharing information than a Solstice or Prismatic Dawnbringer. Like with the Solstice Dawnbringers, the Equinox and Prismatic Dawnbringers tend to avoid combat at at all possible. Equinox Dawnbringers prefer more of a supportive role to increase the strength of their comrades. Though they don't like combat, if those they care about is endangered, they have no problems of standing up and guarding them, even if that means taking the brunt of the danger. Ceremony of Dawning Light: The Dawnbringers most special and sacred ritual is the one they hold yearly at Brightshine Jubilee. It is one of the few ceremonies where all dragons across Sornieth are invited to watch, and on very rare occasions, participate in. The ceremony begins before the break of dawn and all Dawnbringers gather at the base of the Beacon. As soon as the crack of dawn appears, the Dawnbringers take off and soar together in a very slow arch across the sky, as if they were pulling the sun up. It is a very high honor to be asked to join in the flight, and all who witness it say it's as if they were watching an incredibly large and beautiful rainbow stretch across the sky with the multi-colors of the Dawnbringers glinting in the rising sun's light.
