Cursed Talonclasp Pendant
Reaper Guise
Khana began life as a fairly normal hatchling. Well, as normal as a Plague hatchling could be. She played, she laughed, she got into mischief. She always had an infatuation with riches and shiny things, so even as she grew older, Khana enjoyed walking amongst the stored goods in the Vault whenever she could get some time alone. This was probably a good deal more time than most dragons, so it wasn’t long before the dragoness grew bold. She didn’t really mean too much harm, she was simply curious about the specific treasures within. Such curiosity was ill-fated. One day when sifting through some jewelry, Khana came across a red ruby pendant. It seemed to call to her, humming in her claws. Before she quite knew what was happening, she slipped it around her neck, desiring it very strongly for herself without quite knowing why. It was beautiful, with detailed gold etchings, the gemstone a shade of the deepest crimson. Hastily, she snatched a dark cloak from the storage as well, keen to keep this valuable discovery for herself. Khana has never been the same since.

Khana is actually a seemingly-pleasant dragon when with the clan, but her charm quickly fades if you’re foolish enough to ask prodding questions. If you were to tail Khana on her walks through the depths of the forest, you might almost catch snippets of her whispering to the pendant, the ruby glowing in response and humming louder. Her eyes almost seem to glow when this occurs, a trancelike state befalling them. Unfortunately, no dragon who follows her has been able to confirm any of these things. It’s terribly difficult to report news when you wind up disappearing.
