Sigurd is the master of a deep set of tunnels under a modestly sized mountain. When he's not burrowing and expanding the lair he's often with his mate Ursa, whom he adores. The largest room under the mountain is their room. It is filled with the finest sand, making it a soft bed for them to lay upon. Sigurd takes advantage of the natural hot springs and through a little magic and show of force, the flow of water is able to heat the sand making keeping it a constant temperature which is comfortable for the both of them. Along the walls of his room is a detailed history of his family's past as well as the histories of the flights all carefully carved into the stones. Above his sand bed is a carving of himself and his beloved, Ursa, carefully inlaid with precious stones he has found while digging under the mountain.

He is constantly building and taking down the histories of any dragon that comes into his lair. Those whom he adopts are his children as much as any of his natural born and are invited to write their own stories on the walls of their room.

He is an archivist and displays artifacts and other objects in a large gallery of a room where he keeps stone tablets, scrolls, tomes, and books he's gathered so far. If you ask he'll gladly show you it, however, he might talk your ear off and put you to sleep.

Sigurd's clan has expanded to many parts of the Greatwyrm's breech. In doing so his clan has discovered far more ancient paintings and murals older than anything Sigurd has recorded. Unfortunately with the discovery of new territory Sigurd's brood have run into the numerous members of Beastclan who want to remove the dragons from the area. As such the relations with the Dunhoof Ambassador and several other species of Beastclan that have come into Sigurd's lair are growing strained. Sigurd has donned his battle armor as the attacks grow more frequent.

His past names have called him Warlord, and the armor he dons fully supports the legends. In his youth he was restless and had fought many a beast to prove himself in the wilds. He isn't proud of what his Bloodplate stands for, but maybe it will give his enemies a second thought when it comes to attacking him and his clan. As for now the days of gentle historian have to be put down to deal with the growing threat.
