» She was one of the first to join the matriarch, back when the clan only had three members including herself. She saw how the clan grew and shrank. Saw the transformation of the unsure guardian to the ruling ice queen the matriarch is now. For a while, she was just a trophy in the clan - just someone who could show off her colors, but even within her, she wanted to fight, and not just with magic, but with her claws. Completely abandoning the magic ways of her native flight, Peaceful followed the other warriors of the clan. However, instead of following their typical training regime of hitting hard, she concentrated on building her speed and resilience. She was the one who the matriarch assigned to train the young dergs who were seeking the journey to the Gladekeeper. She could take two, while the others could only take one, and while her sharp temper tended to keep the other adult dragons at a distance, the young ones did not mind. But even so, Peaceful felt as if she did not truly belong anymore. While she could fight (and she would do so to her last breath if necessary), the clan was building up more warriors. She went to the matriarch, one of the few she was comfortable in confiding in, and they agreed that that it was time for her to find a new home. It was not with bitter words, but with growing confidence that Peaceful spread her wings and left the Venerable Lair of the Shrieking Wilds behind to find her new home in the Ancient Lair of the Behemoth. Here she would settle with PeacefulBliss' Clan of the Seekers--her heart knowing she was truly home at last. |
