Biography

Aneva is the authority in the court. Cold and difficult to please, she is shrouded in mystery to her subjects, yet she addresses them at will and seems to always know what's going on. Her punishments are severe and her rewards subtle- they always seem to be more useful later in time.

This is the same land once ruled by a tyrannical witch, whose power generated folklore and ran ice through the blood of the bravest knights. However, she was no match for the sudden eruption of the magical rift from which she drew power, or so speculate the people relieved by her abrupt disappearance... That was a century ago. In her place, the surreptitious Aneva has erected an estate, a notion that commands respect and fear in of itself. No one dares ask, but she may know more about the witch's demise than she lets on.
