"Wide seas and strong winds, that's all I need."
She was born and raised in the Twisting Crescendo. She enjoyed flying, like all Wind dragons do, but it was sailing that captured her heart. The kite-ships bobbing in the air were her first venture, and from the air she could see the great expanse of the world beneath her. She experimented with sailing on water and found that she liked it as well - and so she joined a marauding horde that plundered their way across the oceans of Sornieth. It was in her seafaring days that she met her future mate Reaver, her horde against his Clan in battle, and though they didn't fall in love instantly, they recognized each other when they met again. And again. And again... It wasn't long before the two of them slipped away from their old lives and went north beyond the reach of pirates, to get to know each other better in the Gladeveins. She and her mate helped Simmariel found the Clansguard, defending their quiet new home. She did grow tired of the idyllic Nature domain, missing the fierce winds and dangerous waters she had grown to love. When the clan moved south in search of a new territory, she was delighted when they journeyed to the southern ocean... and less delighted when they crossed it. She perked up when they encountered Reaver's birth clan, though she was a bit embarrassed that they remembered her from their scraps years ago. She's grown to love the challenge of life in the Southern Icefield, and has adapted wonderfully to the chill climate with the help of the pelts she has begun to collect. "She's been with us ever since we were just starting out in the Gladeveins, having joined Aconite in search of a little peace and quiet. She's really started to shine as a warrior ever since we moved south. I suspect it's because she spent a great deal of time plundering the coastline here." "Blackwind always keeps her word, even if she is a dragon of rather loose morals. She doesn't shirk from a fight, though she puts in noticeably more effort when there's a monetary reward involved. Her Charge is that rusty sword she's never without, no matter how much I glare at her for waving it about indoors."
