 Ningal's first moments were filled with terror, her mother desperately clutching her egg as she frantically flew away from a looming emperor. Her mother's tail was grabbed and yanked into the maw of the beast, causing her to drop the egg. Ningal's egg tumbled down a hill, a large crack forming on its shell. When she emerged, she found herself alone, the sound of rumbling footsteps being the first thing she heard. She waddled towards the noise, hoping to find her mother, but instead, she spotted a three-headed zombie in the distance. Luckily, it didn't spot her, and the mirror hatchling fled in a frenzy. She ran towards the outskirts of lightning territory, where a group of scouts had found her. The little Ningal was distrustful, but she didn't have anywhere else to go. They led her back to camp, where she found an unnamed clan of dragons, recently founded by a small clan of wind dragons, who traveled to the Shifting Expanse to aid those fleeing Luminax's wrath. The clans at the time leaders, Zake and Shaye, took the little one under their wing, finding themselves fond of the little mirror. |
