PERSONALITY Lazy, stubborn, and constantly annoyed. Fortune is a dragon that would rather spend her time doing absolutely nothing at all, and has an irritable personality when that time is disturbed. She finds everything an inconvenience, unless it involves making trouble for others.  Fortune's healing power changes with the moon, growing weak at its fullest and stronger during the new moon.ABOUT Fortune is the middle child amongst her two other siblings, Luca and Dagger. Her mother named her in the belief that her future would be prosperous, hoping that their powers would be passed down and serve her well. She and her siblings grew up in the Burning Frost while their father, Corrin, protected the frontlines in the Ashfall Wastes. Despite Corrin and Prayer's high hopes (and expectations) for their offspring, Fortune grew up rather rebellious, and was especially reluctant to follow in her father's footsteps. Conflict, confrontation, battle... to Fortune, all of that was simply not worth the effort. Instead, she would often times be up to no good with her brother Dagger, pulling pranks on their older sister, Luca and other townsfolk. Luca was always much more diligent than them, and being the eldest daughter of the Captain of the Guards doesn't allow for much soul searching. When Fortune came of age, and unrest began to ramp up, she had little choice but to join the guards, short-staffed as they were. At first, Fortune was self-conscious about performing her healing duties. She didn't like to be seen as weak or incompetent, and deep down she had a fear of not measuring up. But as she began to gain confidence in herself and her abilities, she found that she was able to handle even the most severe injuries with ease. Her healing skills quickly became apparent to everyone around her, and she began to receive more and more requests for her services. She became a guard her father Corrin could be proud of with her own strengths, although the freeloader side of her still remained intact. Fortune is there when she's needed most, even if she makes a big deal about it being annoying. Her pearl is often mistaken for a very large clementine or pomelo. |
