.-.-.-.-.-.-.While a bit of piano music is easy on the ears and keeps a saloon lively, The Gilded Scale has a star among its staff - Sapphire Songbird, better known by her husband and friends as Kenopsia. She's a bit of a diva according to Aranka, but the skydancer brings plenty of repeat business to the establishment. Her voice is described as hauntingly sweet and enchanting. Nearly every night she takes to the small stage by the piano to work her magic. Sometimes quite literally. Her ability to read the overall tensions in the room allows her to decide what kind of song might shift things back towards being calm and jovial.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.Kenopsia is quite the attraction and there is some debate over why she chooses to sing at a bar rather than make herself a career in theatre. Her husband, Shalmas, is the theatre director and can very rarely rope her into doing a song or two for charity events. She performed once at the mayor's garden party, but only once. It is rare that she goes anywhere other than The Gilded Scale or her home close by. Kenopsia doesn't speak to those she doesn't know, giving her a rather snobbish reputation. Some say she doesn't speak at all.

x	Shalmas - Husband .-.-.-.-.The pair met long before they moved to Verboten, when Kenopsia had first started her career by playing as a siren in a small theatre group. Her husband supported her through everything and helped put her on bigger stages.

x	Aranka - Employer .-.-.-.-.Kenopsia was grateful for the opportunity to work at a small local venue, tired of the large, loud crowds. She feels more passionate in her singing at the saloon than she ever has before.
