  You would not expect the battle-hardened clans of the Scarred Wasteland to see much use for silks and seductions, but it is often their courtesans who boast the most illustrious reputations. Born into a land of strife, Plague courtesans must learn early on how to comfort warriors, an obstinate and volatile lot on a good day. It is said that they will never lie to you, for a soldier knows the difference between flattery and admiration, and will be all too glad to take your tongue for feeding him falsehoods.

Among the most sought-after of Plague courtesans is Unnamed. He is a master of his trade, both within and without the Scarred Wasteland, and can adapt his routine to suit any customer. An old politician will find him flattering; a weary soldier will find him honest; a simple baker will find him kindly. Each face he dons is flawless, even to those with the keenest senses. Whatever it is you desire most, be it conversation, song, or dance, he will satisfy you. You will never seek another once your heart has been soothed by him.

But he is crafty, and he hungers for wealth like the Shade hungers for proxies. If you are not cautious, he will take you for all you are worth, and when you have nothing left to give, he will only smile and say, “You should have known better than to love a courtesan.”
