Mheasta

Residing far, far from the rest of Ghost's Edge, Mheasta is a hermit. He was as such in the past locations that the clan settled in, and he shall remain so. He does not like the presence of others in his carefully chosen home. He is happy, mostly, to be alone.

Perhaps some small part of him craves partnership, craves closeness. That part of himself is locked tightly away, though, he cannot allow himself the hope or the wishes of such tenderness. He bears a branded mark on his back, between his wings, that mark him the once follower of something awful. Some old pact that cost him so much.

He shall never speak of this, shall tell no soul of the deal with the Shade itself that he tried to make, to bring back someone dear to him. How that sad, desperate deal, succeeded.

But his beloved was brought back wrong. So wrong. Not the same soul, just a beast shoved into the shell of someone he loved. The mark left on him is the constant reminder of his mistake, and the reason he is in his own self-inflicted exile.
