The Blue Blood Eclipse comes once every 150 years. In the same moment when the shadow of the planet blocks out the face of the full moon - leaving only a thin halo of blue light shimmering faintly in the darkness - a single dragon egg cracks and hatches. The hatchling claws its way into the frigid winter air, yet it does not feel the cold. It's scales drip with a thick and foreboding miasma. Born under powerful moon-magic in an unhallowed nest, the Shadecurse is stronger with this dragon than the others. The tendrils of black energy reaching out from its aura wither the life-forces of vulnerable creatures. The clan experiences great loss as three hatchlings and one older dragon cannot withstand the influence of the Shadecurse and are lost. Feared and isolated, the Blue Blood Shadecursed lingers in the shadows - only coming out beneath the full moon and growing strong as the curse continues to feed...
