The search isn't about the find;
were you left behind, or were you forgotten?

Kaylin was a great mystery, even to himself. He knew his purpose, his goal, but beyond finding his older sister, he was scarcely a being at all. Within the Cathedral he met Kethis, who scolded him for ignoring life itself during his hunt.

Now, he seeks more answers than only finding his sister.

 Kaylin arrived at the Cathedral with no intention of staying. It was merely another stop for him in his journey; to any who asked, he told them of his search to find his sister. He had vague memories of her, but she vanished one day, long before he reached adulthood, and he was determined to find her.

However, when he met Kethis, his intention of continuing his search wavered. Kethis intrigued him, and taught him a great deal of things in a very short time; the greatest of which he had forsaken every other aspect of life but his search. In the end, he decided to stay at the Cathedral with her, though there are times he will leave to continue his search, always going to another unexplored area.

He has never returned with his sister in tow, or even news of her, but he does share with Kethis what he learned during his search. Afterward, he fills out maps of the land and books about natural wildlife and fauna to add to the Cathedral's growing libraries.
