Altair is a son of Oberon and Titania of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. Like many that have come before him, he is naturally drawn to space, but out of all of his clutch siblings, he is definitely the most so. He even wants to be an astronomer keeping track of space and the night sky.

Altair's biggest project currently is to collect the most accurate map of the night sky and the positions of all the stars/constellations. He also wants to eventually record all the stories and myths related to those stars in particular, but that project is farther off on his list.

 Though he loved his home Clan and the Starfall Isles dearly, Altair also had a strong thirst for new knowledge, and after learning all he could under the guidance of his parents, he decided to travel Sornieth. This endeavor was also encouraged by his parents, who wished for him to find a purpose in life, keeping him busy and saving him from his strong fascination for stars. No matter what Clan he would find, they only hoped his new clanmates would be able to take care of him when he forgot himself.

Altair fairly quickly arrived in the Chiroptera Cult, as any dragon destined to be there usually did. There, he found exactly what he wanted, and needed, in life: a cosmologist who loves Space (maybe a bit too much, as her peculiar hunger is difficult to constrain...), Vampress, and a librarian always seeking new knowledge, Athena. He rapidly joined the group of dragons gravitating around Athena's library, keeping close to Vampress, who keeps an eye on him so as to not let him get lost in space.
