B I O G R A P H Y

Minaerva's Theme: "Mykonos."

______ Minaerva grew up in the wealthy society of her homeland. She attended an expensive academy and was expected, overall, to be very successful in life. For a hatchling, she was quite arrogant and paid little attention to her professors. She tried studying hard but was too often distracted in class. The young dragon simply preferred storybooks far more than these lectures about dragon biology. Deciding that this life was not for her, and much to her parents' disappointment, Minaerva left the academy and set out for farther horizons.

______ She lived with her brother, an artist, for a few months while she tried to find work. Becoming quite desperate, she came across a librarian who was in need of assistance. The job was dull. She found that, just like the academy, there was a lot of information that just seemed pointless. Still, she needed this job. Minaerva worked hard and put in the effort towards learning what she could about the library. There was a precise system for the organization of the ancient scrolls; a place for everything and everything had to be in its place. To her surprise, she came to love the dusty history and the tales of old, maybe because, in a way, she longs for adventure, but from the safety of her den, with a cup of tea, and Mr. Fluffles in her lap.
