Stern, unforgiving, and shockingly ferocious, Petaldancer is an uncommon Fae in more ways than just one. Having been charged from birth to defend the strange and eccentric seer, Delphi, Petaldancer has spent her entire life perfecting the art of a bodyguard. With her small size, and even smaller weaponry, one would laugh at the idea of a warrior Fae, but there is no doubt that within her tiny body beats the heart of a warrior.
An excellent marksman, Petaldancer doesn't suffer fools, and is unafraid of most of the larger dragons in the Frozen Stone clan. After making it clear that her charge is to be untouched and safe, Petaldancer makes herself at home in her new surroundings, showing little discomfort or care for the snowy wasteland that she has found herself exiled to.
Despite her logical and rather stubborn ways, Petaldancer is obedient to a fault, and never fails to take an order to its word. And she displays a dizzying amount of patience when it comes to her charge, whose eccentric and flighty ways are solely responsible for landing her such a wild array of duties. It's difficult to say if her patience for her ward is due to her knowledge of his eccentricity, or perhaps a secret longing.
If Petaldancer knows this, she certainly is not telling. But there is no question that Delphi's care for his bodyguard is real, and perhaps real enough to send the seemingly unflappable Fae into a tizzy whenever he chooses to speak up of it. Thankfully, perhaps for the both of them, Delphi seems well aware of the situation they are both in.
