JOB DESCRIPTION
(out of date) When he is not working on his aspirations, Ekin also works on furthering the clan technology-wise. The Labyrinth is certainly no Shifting Expanse, and the limitations caused by their enviornment frustrates Ekin at times, but he does his best to make things work, and things are made easier by the large workshop that was recently built for him and the others that share his interests. He also occasionally will craft more personal items on request, ranging from jewelery to small gadgets.

PERSONALITY
Most dragons in the clan know not to be offended if Ekin appears to be ignoring them, not really paying attention to any attempts at a conversation; it's likely that he's simply more preoccupied with thoughts of his next invention. He is friendly enough, though, if you manage to capture his attention, and the dragons that he feels more comfortable with often learn more than they'd ever wish to know about the inner workings of whatever he's working on at the moment.

EARLY LIFE
(out of date-ish) Originally found as an egg by a young Merak, Ekin was a curious dragon from the start, staring up at the much larger dragons that had watched him hatch with inquisitive, pupil-less eyes. Raised primarily by Amina and Iskan, the Mirror found the most in common with Merak, the dragon that had initially found him, what with their shared eagerness to learn more about the world around them. As he grew, Ekin would often climb up onto the larger dragons backs-especially Merak-and spend the day with them, observing everything around him. His primary focus is learning about the inner workings of living things, and how he can make them better, as well as how he can create living things of his own. One of the first major things that he managed to craft were the metal contraptions that he wears on his own wings. While his wings are weak, useless things on their own, with the help of the sleek metal wings, he is now able to fly. The small golem that now assists him in his workshop was his first breakthrough towards bigger and better things. While this concerns some in the clan, he hopes to someday craft a full-size metallic dragon, for possibly no other reason to say that he can. He continues to learn through observation, and someday, perhaps, he will see this dream recognized.
