Autumn

Autumn is an odd thing... She drifted into the clan in those days just between seasons, a wandering spirit of some kind. She took up residence here, and upon hearing of what she really was some of the clan's residents started making small offerings to her, leaving little gifts outside her den. She tried to assure them she could bring neither curses nor blessings, that she wasn't a spirit or deity of anything particularly useful, that she was simply a humble spirit of the small changes in the world - often beautiful but ultimately short-lived. Gradually, she has simply become another member of the clan, though some still leave her little tokens from time to time - a colorful fall leaf, pressed flowers of the season most recently past, fruits, other such things. She appreciates it but still doesn't understand it.
