Despite his small size, Flint is a keen tracker and hunter... against his will. He doesn't enjoy the hunt, and hates the kill, but realises the needs of the clan come first. At least he has Dime to complain to. Flint is a tiny but clever dragon from the Nerada clan. He was born to two flamboyant dragons who once acted as tailor and seamstress to the Neradas, and although they have since left to serve their deity, he has taken their fiery spirits with him to the Southern Icefield. He was put into Polaria's care in the early days of the clan, as the Neradas knew that they needed a skilled tracker, and Flint's parents thought seeing new land would help his skills flourish - a mutually beneficial exchange. He immediately was put under the clan patriarch's tutelage, and although Creston is an expert, he is an aggressive hunter who tends to think with his stomach. This leads to large hauls, but often gives away their presence. Flint, on the other hand, takes a more learned approach to tracking and hunting, using an aged journal to track prints, and that's what eventually saw him leading a small team of hunters on occasion, when Creston's team is off duty. He is much stronger than he looks, and protects his team well. His knowledge of the area also sees him guiding visitors and new members around the territory - a job he far prefers, but doesn't get to do often. Although talented, Flint has a short temper and a hot head - often complaining about the cold and other minor issues - which only gets worse when the weekly mail comes. Instead of writing fond missives back home he exchanges heated letters full of bragging back and forth with his brother and supposed rival, Kacper. The two have never gotten along, and Flint claims to have always been in his shadow. The truth of the matter is unknown, and he's not one to open up easily, yet whenever someone asks him if he wants to leave the Cirrina clan, he genuinely seems shocked and offended at the idea. That means he probably likes it there. Right?...Right?
