It didn’t feel too long ago Kenny said to him, “Let’s play again tomorrow”. It replayed in his mind often, it was the last moment they shared before he left, and never returned.
They played so many games together, but there was a favorite. A witch and his knight. Kenny always told him he was going to become a real witch… after he disappeared he could focus on that. Focus he did. Spell after spell after spell. Their little game was reality now, if only he could see it.
He had a new game now, a forest fairy. Sometimes young dragons would spot him roaming to look for herbs and other materials. He would smile and slip away.
If only the person to find him was his Knight, maybe the spells Kenny casted would be worth it. To see him safe again…
