Notes: Rainbow Sherbet Variant #2 Lore: The Lightweaver's domain mainly consists of large expanses of prairie with several ruins, a few scattered forests on the edges. Between some of the ruins exists an ocean of golden grass that holds as many secrets as the Lightweaver herself. No light dragon was certain how large it was, how far it stretched across the grassy plains. Its length seemed to change, shifting along the interior plains of the Lightweaver's domain. There were roads that skirted the edges of the plains that the wall of magic never came close too. All Light Dragons and those who lived among the domain knew to avoid the plains. History Seiyakun couldn't remember how he got trapped inside the barrier. Long ago he had fought in a war against Shade that invaded his Flight's Domain. One moment he was facing down the open maw of a massive Shade, the next moment he was thrown through a wall of shimmering light. He crashed into the peaceful plains on the opposite of the barrier dazed and confused. No longer in the lands claimed by the Thunderlord, Seiyakun found it harder to adjust to peace then he thought. Where was the evil that surely lurked in the peaceful sea of golden grass? As he searched for answers one of the dragons that resided in the city known as Circle gave what she knew. Serena had been searching for a way out for centuries. She informed Seiyakun that he was trapped deep within the Lightweaver's Domain. Among the stone structures nestled deep within the vast expanse of tents and stalls, Serena showed him the ways of Circle. Where he could gather food and objects for consumption and trade, places he could seek shelter, and what she knew of the barrier. Serena held nothing in reserve, she gave freely. Years passed and Seiyakun found his heart, mind, and soul falling deeper in love with Serena. Afraid of rejection he kept quiet, his feelings a secret between them. One day he went out into the plains as he searched for stone. Stone of any sort had value. Long gone were the times of being able to quarry Bloodstone, dragons sought it out for trade and building materials. It was too dangerous to mine the Bloodstone quarries, a vicious clan of rage-filled dragons had claimed it as their lands. Under the harsh sunlight, Seiyakun was approached by an ancient dragon who offered wisdom in exchange for stone. Noir told Seiyakun the truth. Shocked and horrified he raced back to Circle to tell Serena what he learned. Before he could reach the city he was intercepted by Red. Seiyakun battled Red until he could fight no more. He was given a choice, join Red or die. Unable to bear the thought of never seeing Serena again, Seiyakun agreed to join the Truth Bringers. Escorted across the plains he found himself thrust into a nomadic life. Truth Bringers hated their fate and sought to escape the barrier. Unlike the peaceful, but unaware members of Circle, they determined that freedom only came from the price paid in blood and death. With enough blood offered to the barrier, they could smash it open and rejoin the world beyond its thick veil. |
