Gavisus is well-known in the lair for being invariably happy and chronically irresponsible. He's very proud of his colors, and chooses his apparel carefully to best show them off; he dislikes apparel that covers too much of his natural coloration. He adores all kinds of gemstones, but his favorites are emeralds, azurite, and gold - for obvious reasons. He loves designing and making jewelry, but he doesn't care to wear it, and most of what he makes is given away as gifts. He also enjoys drawing, but he doesn't keep track of his work very well, and has been known to leave half-finished design ideas or landscapes drifting about his den. Between he and his mate, Laeta, their nesting area is often quite cluttered.

Gavisus loves to travel, but is not allowed to go out on his own. He is very trusting and gullible, and will believe what other dragons tell him with little hesitation. He also tends to space out when he is nervous, which makes him an attractive target for thieves and beastclan warriors. On the battlefield, he's an excellent healer, but is very careless about minding his surroundings, and needs constant protection. His cheerful attitude makes him an entertaining travel partner, though, and he rarely has trouble finding willing companions.

Cloud Chaser

Gavisus likes Jouissance mainly because of her colors, and also because she's an active little familiar that's always willing to play with him. She also remembers her life in the Kelp Beds, and is particularly good at using Disorient; she's saved Gavisus more times than he realizes by disorienting would-be attackers.

Koshava

Gavisus is a member of team Koshava, consisting of himself, Cylyria, and Boreas. Koshava patrols the area around the Cloudscrape Craigs. It's an extremely dangerous patrol, requiring keen attention to detail and extensive familarity with the terrain. Boreas enjoys the challenge, Cylyria enjoys keeping Boreas and Gavisus safe, and Gavisus, who has very little sense of self-preservation, enjoys the scenery.

Gavisus is mated to Laeta; the two currently have an open relationship with Haeata and Stribog. Laeta and Stribog have one son who had chosen to remain in the lair named Caprice. Caprice is mated to Whim, the daughter of Wish and Spinel.

Gavisus is close friends with Cylyria, Boreas, Wish, Spinel, Stribog, Haeata, Alvar, Kirave, Folio, and Carta.
