Lepidoptera. Named for a butterfly-- delicate, sweet, fragile. She used to be like that. Brought up in a family of nobles, pampered from birth, and betrothed to someone she'd never met and never would. She doesn't know what happened to the husband-to-be, but he never arrived; the marriage fell through. It was thought by many, that perhaps, he simply couldn't bear the thought of marrying her. Perhaps he's fallen in love with someone else. Such a scandal marred her family's 'good' name, and she faced retribution and spite from those she had cared about. Thoroughly disillusioned with the life she had once led, as well as her own family, she took to the road. The delicate Lepidoptera has with age and experience grown rough, scarred, and, against all odds, happy.
