B I O G R A P H Y

Kiiivlyn’s first memory was of the cold, being tossed out of the nest at birth. Pale feathered Coatls were sickly. Pale feathered Coatls were as good as dead.She would not have survived had it not been for a voice she heard, echoing deep within her mind. It was comforting and warm, almost like a mother with a honey sweet tune. It promised her safety and a family, if she could just get up. Kiiivlyn, too young to truly understand that hearing voices was never a sign of health, obeyed the echoes and ventured into the world. The voice introduced itself as Eanna; a beneficial muse to the less fortunate. The little Coatl didn’t fully understand what her new friend meant. She was just happy to have some company.
Eanna instructed the youth to head further into the Arcane territory, away from the chilly border which she was birthed. With the rising temperatures came rising danger as well. Beastclans lurked among the paths, ready to strike at any young or helpless dragon that made an easy target. Kiiivlyn fell victim to one of these attacks, a flock of Raptorik had ambushed her as she left the Starwood Strand, some years after she met Eanna. Before she could be killed by the enemy’s deadly talons, a little Fae seemingly materialized from nowhere and sent a spell their way. An illusion, powerful enough to blind the foes and send them reeling. In the chaos and confusion, Kiiivlyn was able to scamper away, unharmed. The familiar voice joined her yet again and asked if she was alright. The Coatl knew it was Eanna who had saved her and the trust in the Shapeshifter was complete.
