Nobody knows the true reason Zohar covers his eyes. It could be solidarity for his love, Lealette, blinded by unspeakable eldritch nightmares. It could be to hide the last remnant of his former clan, a permanent reminder of his mistakes, and the consequences suffered.

Or, it could be that the horrors still plague him, through his unwavering devotion to the Lightweaver, through his endless smiles and advice, through his pride for this clan - his clan - born from such tragedy and pain, through it all, they still haunt him.

And nobody ever hears him in the dead of night, rosy eyes uncovered, unblinking, locked to seemingly nothing in a shadowy corner as he hums poems, stories, and harrowing recounts of the last thing he truly saw...
