Ridge is a quiet, contemplative dragon who excels in strategic battle tactics. He has devoted his life to protecting his clan from any and all enemies and has done so successfully. Revered by his clan-mates, he is also well-liked because of his kind personality.

When he is not in battle in the Coliseum, Ridge enjoys teaching the youngsters how to protect and defend their own future clans. He is a patient instructor and most of his pupils go on to become exceptional warriors in their own rights. His favorite students, though, are his own children and he takes great pride in seeing them develop their skills.
Ridge's life changed when a stranger appeared one day during Night of the Nocturne in 2019. Timid and slightly confrontational, she blossomed under the care of Anafiel, the sentry who found her spying on a clan picnic out near the Fishpine Reef. In due time, Ridge began courting Gendra and in truth, he fell deeply in love. He had hoped with the three children they raised together that she would want to settle down with him forever, but alas, she decided to carry on with her journey, leaving Ridge to focus even harder on his job in order to ease his loneliness.
