Icterus always thought her colors and designs were beautiful. But everyone else scorned her and called her 'diseased.' For years, she ignored them and reveled in her own power to feel confident.

But then a dragon she had fallen in love with laughed at her and told her she was a mess, a sickness. Distraught, she ran away to seclusion where she began to hate herself and her appearance. Staring at her orange mottled wings, she thought, "It's true. I am a sickness."

The Plaguemother called to her, and blessed her with wisdom and the sterility of decay. Icterus embraced her new calling as a Witch Doctor, bringing disease and healing those who were worthy. She doesn't see what she does as negative, or a curse. She is simply cleansing the world of its impurities so it can be whole and healthy once more.

She came to the Snowmoth Clan in order to spread the Plaguemother's message, and to attempt to influence the ever-scientific Lightning dragons. So far, her efforts have been meaningless, but she is determined nonetheless.
