B I O G R A P H Y

When Flaize stopped in Clan Valtura, he had no idea it would be the end of his travels. The clan was welcoming, and there was even a large library which he was invited to peruse by the local librarian. Pyxis was her name, and she seemed sweet, if a bit overwhelmed. He made a mental note to be especially careful to put every book back in its place, so to not make more work for the lone fae.

Later, as he left the library for a break from his studies, he spied Northstar, the Nursery Papa, talking to a young hatchling who...looked like Flaize himself? Curious, he flew over and landed gracefully some feet away, so as not to startle the young one. He introduced himself to the pair.

"Yes, we were just talking about you. This little one was wondering why there's another dragon here who looked like him" Said Northstar. Then in a hushed voice,"His mother was a traveler, she disappeared in the night recently and left her child behind."

The hatchling, overhearing this, piped up, telling Flaize his mother's name and insisting she would be back soon. Flaize was startled by the name. He should've known his sister's son when he saw him.

"Little one, your mother's name....well, that makes me your uncle!" Flaize was delighted, until the sad reality of this unwanted child came back to him. He was sure Northstar would take care of him, but a family's a difficult thing to find. And if Flaize could provide that for his nephew, nothing would get in his way.

"You mean we're family?" The hatchling squeaked in excitement. Flaize nodded, lowering his head down to the hatchling's.

"If it's ok with Clan Valtura, I will stay here and take care of you, be your family. How does that sound?" He offered, then turned his gaze to Northstar questioningly.

I see no problem with that," Said the older skydancer. Flaize could see the joy in his eyes, and knew it was reflected in his own. The hatchling shrieked happily and began to run around his uncle in delight.

Flaize is now the second librarian in Clan valtura, along with his friend Pyxis. His nephew spends his days by Flaize's side, eagerly absorbing every scrap of knowledge from him. The two have moved into a den with Pyxis and her friend, Nuto.
