Nicholas

Nicholas began his life as a Gaoler of the Seeker Order. In the wintertime - it is always winter in the Southern Icefields - he grew facial hair to rival any Guardian, and so much fur that it covers up his multiple eyes.

One day when he was out with Anthony, Mark, Soren and Thrir, he flew over a leyline and the combination of their powerful and the energies of the leyline and his own Primal magic zapped all of them into Sandsurge dragons.

"At least I still have my facial hair and some of my fur."

Nicholas still has the protective, cautious personality of a Gaoler and is the leader of Strike Team Alpha, an elite four-dragon squadron that travels Sornieth hunting and trapping Horrorbeasts, and healing Shade-infected Beastclans. He has grown to love his companions, and they share a beautifully decorated lair. Sometimes Nicholas trains warriors to fight the Shade.

When not hunting, Nicholas is a talented cook, and enjoys reading poetry and other literature, especially the ancient sagas of his Gaoler ancestors. He is a bit formal and reserved - as dignified as one can be with eyeballs on his posterior, and... this.


But, he occasionally demonstrates a sense of humor and has been known to indulge his companions in a bit of harmless pranking and silliness. Also, he loves his Ferberus cats, and they frequently accompany the team on their travels.


Finally, Nicholas would like you to know that he is not responsible for his trainees naming themselves MeatballJim. "That name is an unseemly abomination."
