Biography

The Gods
Living in a higher dimension, the Gods together oversee different worlds. They live to put order and to protect. They have relatively more power than the ordinaries, however, they still have to follow the rule of equivalent exchange. They must pay for what is out of their boundaries. One thing all Gods must not do is to either create or bring back life.

Korey
Spear. (Irish)
First-Level | God of the Water

“You don't, but I decide whether you can talk to me or not.”

Mate: Veron

Personality:
He is extremely tsundere, can be seen as unreasonable and childish initially, but is caring on the inside. He doesn't admit he cares. He is also too shy for getting compliments, he always says no that wasn't me.

Level and Signature appearance:
As a first level God, Korey can see and affect anything that has water as an element, in the corresponding world that he looks after.
He has 4 slits starting from his lower abdomen area with tentacles resting inside. They usually come out when he is having extreme emotions.

"..." ——
1.
Spreading his sea-blue wings with a quick movement, Korey exploded out of the water, his ice-blue eyes gleaming. Water flashed all around him, seemingly imploding beside him. Droplets flicked all around, landing on his wings. He’d just received an urgent message from Nihility.

Please meet at the Central Pagoda,” Nihility’s messenger had said, reading off a little scroll, which was soaked with water. Clearly, they were having trouble reading it, “As.. soon as possible…?” Korey gave a curt nod, shooing them away coldly, “Thank you.”

Korey flew swiftly toward the Central Pagoda, and after arriving at the place that was decorated excellently, he glanced around at the gathered dragons. Silks and vines were strung up everywhere and the area itself was very pretty, however it was used for a less-than-lovely purpose.

If a God did something truly horrible, it was here they’d fall and be stripped of their powers.

And Korey had an awful feeling he knew who it was.

2.
Nihility waved their arm at Lancelot. “And now,” they concluded, “You will be stripped of your godly abilities. You will fall and no longer belong in this land for what you have done. You will pay for… for reviving him. Be gone, Lancelot. Never return to this land, for it is no longer yours.”

And with that, the God seemed to just… simply, fall. He sunk down, and then plummeted into nothingness, disappearing a few moments after.

A chorus of chatter rose after Lancelot could no longer be seen.

Korey threw his drink, not caring where it went. A loud, shattering, clattering noise filled the already-loud area. His friend - Lancelot - knew the consequences. How dare he do that? The Water God knew that Lancelot had made a grave mistake and he had paid for it, and that it wasn’t really Korey’s fault, but he was still angry.

“What an idiot!” growled Korey, watching his assistant, Veron, scramble over and clean up the shattered glass. Fury burned deep inside of the Water God, pulsing and swirling around like a fiery wave of water. He knew his friend was smarter than that, he knew it! Why would Lancelot even think that would be a good idea?

The God soon calmed down, letting the feeling of calm, ocean waves submerge him. Of course, he wasn’t really near water. It was usual for the Water God to calm himself with the feeling or motion of gentle waves, for he truly adored water. It was so pure and so calm… Most of the time, except when it sloshed and swished quickly from side to side, uncontrollably heading back and forth, back and forth, frothing foam sitting at the tops of the crests...

“Veron?”

His assistant looked up, head tilting, “Yes, master?”

Korey took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure, “Do you think Lancelot is an idiot?”

A moment of pause filled the area between them, and Veron replied, “...Yes, master.”

3.
The God who replaced Lancelot was Irafel, oh Irafel. Irritation simmered inside of the Water God whenever he heard his name. He was kind and nice but nothing like Lancelot, and Korey missed Lancelot. He’d take his friend over him any day.

And now he was trying to speak with him!

“Um, Korey?” Irafel was standing in front of him, his gaze gleaming a little nervously. The wind rippled her outfit, his green silk-like shawl fluttering in the slight breeze.

Korey whipped to face him, “Who said you could speak with me?” His voice was infused with venom and was dripping with fury. Veron’s tail flicked against Korey’s side. The Water God’s assistant was almost always around.

He flinched back, though he shook his head, rising up to his full height.

“Fine,” he answered simply, lashing his tail and taking off into the skies.

Veron glanced away and stayed quiet.

4.
Korey’s silvery gaze swept around. He was looking for one specific dragon… Clutched between his talons was a small scroll, carefully written with the finest of inks. Veron was, surprisingly, not here. The Water God had actually insisted she take a rest, but hopefully she wouldn’t find the real reason he asked her to stay behind.

Finally! There was the carribean-colored male he was looking for!

Jihan!” hissed Korey, approaching the Third-Level God stealthily. His body was pressed near to the ground.

“Korey?” Jihan turned around and instantly his eyes widened. His position deepened to a bow.
The Water God quickly showed Jihan to a corner of the building they were in, and he murmured a “shh” as they traveled there.

“Jihan, I need you to do something for me.”

The Third-Level God tilted his head a little, curiosity glimmering in his gaze, “What is it?” He narrowed his eyes suspiciously as Korey shuffled his feet a little, before clearing his throat.
“Promise you’ll do it? Please?”

Jihan gave a quiet sigh and nodded. Korey gave a curt nod.

“Well… you see…”

5.
Korey jumps a little excitedly as he sees that Lancelot finally has gotten his letter. After getting Jihan to send it to Lancelot, the Water God had waited for what felt like ever and now his friend was finally reading it!

And then Lancelot pranced over to Felice and laid in his arms, flashing his a warm, cheery smile.
Lancelot, what are you doing?! I specifically told him to read it when he was alone! Korey fumed, watching irritably.

After a moment, he remembered a key fact. Oh wait, we use a different language than mortals do. So there’s no way Felice can read it. We’re good. Crisis averted.

Korey studied his friend curiously, watching as he read it. Lancelot’s gaze skimped over the page, flickering from place to place as a tiny little smile appeared on his face. It soon dissipated and was replaced with a rather sickly expression.

Korey swallowed a bout of laughter and turned away, his tail flicking.

Yes, of course he missed Lancelot. He missed being able to fly around with his friend and he missed the times they had together, though the Water God was happy for him.

Lancelot had finally found happiness for himself.

Quintillion wrote:
Korey looks quite watery and bubbly...! I just have to say how much his python and morph genes remind me of ripples and bubbles in a still lake. Aaaand ohhh gosh, Korey's tale is very bittersweet...I really felt his anger and dismay when Lancelot chose to be removed from his status as a god D': The way you've written him, despite the fact that he's a god and lives on an entirely different plane/dimension than the previous two...he still feels very vulnerable and "human"(obviously not a human being, but you get my meaning) when he lashes out at Irafel and goes to such lengths to get the message delivered to Lancelot. And while I'm so glad for Lancelot that he and Felice are happy and in a good relationship together, I'm now feeling just a little sad for Korey being left behind in the search for a happy life.
