Glaedr is the clan leader here. She chose this clan to be her charge and protects every last dragon who resides here. Named after a great golden dragon from a faraway land, Alagaesia, she shares some of his traits of great wisdom and strength.

Her scales shine golden like the sun and although she has the appearance of a light dragon, she is a true born wind dragon. Her windy nature means that she loves to hear of new adventures and tales from all her clan members. On the rare occasion that she leaves her residence for her own adventure, Glaedr protects the younger Kites from harm in the coliseum. She spends most of her time in this lair taking care of any problems that arise and keeping peace between dragons.

Glaedr is a skilled fighter, however, she does not like violence because of the potential harm that can come to her loved ones. She knows this from experience, as her back legs have been injured quite badly in battle. Some say this is because of who she is named after and that it is a curse that will plague any by that name.

Over the time she has been in the clan she had been mates with Avenger and several other guardians, but she was not particularly happy with this situation and longed for a permanent mate that was suited to running the clan with her. Her current mate, Squall, fulfilled this position. He helps to run the clan with her and organises the Wind dominance efforts and Kites for training.
