Above all else, Taka is stubborn. He wandered the Viridian Labyrinth scavenging, until in one particular hollow, he found a white knight from a chess set. He took this as a good omen, and decided to stay. When the area was given to Arkar for her lair, Taka refused to leave, and the two became the progenitors of this lair. This was made difficult by Arkar’s deep dislike for the yellow and purple male.

Taka won Arkar’s respect on the battle field. There she saw that his cautious approach may have its benefits. He certainly got hurt less than she did. While she still calls him a coward, she did agree to have a nest with him, and has been impressed by his dedication to the task.

Taka is the primary forager for the lair. He has a knack for finding edibles, and interesting items that are hidden. His current goal is to assemble a chess set; Antonin says he knows how to play.
