Glass is made from liquid sand heated to an unearthly temperature. The techniques to create this interesting substance no doubt originated in the land of the Flamecaller, but it is a little known fact that Wind dragons are pretty good at making fire, too. After all, just like any other creature, fire needs to breathe. Carnelian spends her days kicking up the best fire she can, melting sand, and turning it into all strange and wonderful shapes with the same Wind magic that keeps her fire burning hot. Her beautiful lamps and figurines go for a good price, with the raw materials for her trade usually found just a short flight away. 6Nvpd9L.png
Carnelian is clearly a Wind dragon, given that her career requires her to make liberal use of it daily. She enjoys her flights out to far beaches of unnamed seas to collect her sand, but she also likes returning home to teach the curious hatchlings how she makes her beautiful trinkets. Many hatchlings, of course, wonder how she gets her fire so hot even though she's not a Fire dragon. She likes to tell them that the Wind can do anything, they just need to use their imaginations.
