A demon: That's what they call you. From hatching it seemed you were different to your kin, already breathing fire long before any of the other hatchlings. At first your parents would be proud of their little prodigy, and life was happy in The Hearth. You were a handsome young Pearlcatcher with nothing to worry about. As you grew, so did your affinity with the flame, but that would ultimately be the problem. Time passed on and your powers kept strengthening, to where you always seemed to be a walking radiator, then your scales began to smoke, next your claws began to glow with embers, making it hard to not melt what you touch, and after that little flames seemed to constantly wisp around you, turning you into a walking fire hazard. The boiling point however was one day when someone made you mad.... Steaming.... Fuming.... They set your nerves on fire. They were burned so badly they had to be put down.

Since then you were exiled, wandering the world in solitude until you came upon the Crystalspines. Finally, something you can't burn, and so beautiful at the same time. It's in gazing at reflections that you met her: a Pearlcatcher named Percy. A young arcane dragon adorned in roses. She wasn't afraid of you in the slightest. In fact she welcomed you into her clan, after meeting the progenitor Starsong of course. Since that day you've lived in this family of misfits, none judging you for your curse. Since then, Starsong has left to serve The Arcanist along with her mate, leaving poor Percy to grow up and become the new leader. You feel bad for her, so young and inexperienced. She's going to need a good mate to support her.
