Coco is Bryer's eldest son, and is really the only child of his that cares to stay with him. Coco is kind-hearted, shy, stuffy and earnest where his father is vain and lazy. He is embarrassed of his father's womanizing behavior and has resolved never to be like that himself. However, he does care very much for this father, in spite of it all, and tries hard to help take care of him.

Coco's official role in the clan is that of royal retainer to Veil, the obnoxious young grandson of the clan leader. Coco has learned a great deal of responsibility, and how to look after immature dragons, from dealing with his father all his life... so he is quite suited to the task.
