How small and dainty sat the queen,
Quite pretty on her throne.
But not often she was seen
And most times, she sat, unknown.
For the king you see, he stole the eyes
of all those he outshone.
And the queen was left to wonder
What misfortune had been thrown
To leave her just an ornament
to look at and be left alone.
Known as "Lucine's Lady" to many, Impulse was very much overshadowed by her mate, often pushed to the sidelines or not given credit for things although she did most of the unseen and overlooked work for the clan. She decided that maybe if she wore even more jewelry than her mate, then maybe she might get noticed-so she became a living jewelry box.

With the information that Lucine had found about the newest deity, impulse was furious. How could he abandon the Arcanist? The founder and creator of the clan? How dare he. She had been the first to know about this information and was determined to keep it quiet from the rest if the clan. She convinced Lucine that it was dangerous and that he shouldn't tell anyone about it. Reluctantly, he obliged. Unfortunately, he was not very good at keeping secrets.
