______ Golden Dance was a mere hatchling when he was brought into the Tribe of the Wild Dancers. He was alone, unnamed, and lost. Taking pity, Kaiyo adopted him as her own son and raised him to be a dancer like the rest of them. He found he didn't like his adopted mother's Japanese styled dances, and it took awhile for him to discover what he enjoyed most; Hip-hop. He became the first ever hip-hop dancer in the caravan,
and will become a mentor to future dancers wishing to learn his style of hip and leg work.

______ Hip-hop is a dance style, usually danced to hip-hop music, that evolved from the hip-hop culture. The first dance associated with hip-hop was break dancing. Breaking, later known as “breakdancing,” was a style of dance born through these parties. Early Breaking incorporated drops to the ground and swift footwork (top rock).
It also involved gestures associated with mock-battle forms (uprock), and movement on the ground including spins, freezes, and more (down rock). Footwork and toprock both require being able to think in three dimensions, the ability to create your own moves, and the originality to imbue every individual movement with style, flavor, and originality.
