Personality: Aulendra is the Queen of Clan Goldclaw. She is a smooth, charismatic dragoness who has used her gift with words to get where she currently is. As both a Guardian dragon and a golden-scaled one, she is rather vain and haughty. She is also prone to avarice, viciously guarding her horde of pretty but useless trinkets. Despite this, she is not selfish and it was her desire to help others that led her to found Clan Goldclaw in the first place.

As a ruler she tries to be as fair as possible and keep a calm demeanor whenever things go wrong, but sometimes her temper needs to be reeled back in by her calmer mate. She uses her majordomo Emberion for advice regarding expanding the clan, including what battles to choose and what patch of territory to claim, and also consults her beloved mate and co-ruler Aulorien. She lives and breathes for the health and safety of her clan, having chosen to learn how to become a fierce warrior in order to protect it against threats. She cares nothing for a dragon's former god, realm or allegiance, and will gladly take in any dragon who is willing to use their strengths to provide for the clan in exchange for a consistent source of food and shelter.
